Member Dine Outs are arranged every month at a wide range of venues and constitute a luncheon. 

Detail on all of the Activities program are published in advance within the clubs monthly Newsletter and in advance of a general meeting.

This enables those interested in a particular activity to put their name on the list at the meeting and for the organiser to then have exact numbers for booking purposes.  The “get together” factor is the major purpose of the Dine Out program.  By and large functions are contained to “seniors” prices and are affordable to all.

Special Dine out for July. We made it Xmas in July Lunch with the table decorated and one of the members made Choc Fudge as a present for each of the 21 members attending

Dine Out for May at the Mandoline Cafe in Elsternwick was well attended and enjoyed.

Although our birthday was yesterday the cafe we had chosen for lunch was closed so we booked for today. All fully paid up members received a discount from our club towards the meal and a bottle of Champagne was the prize in a free raffle birthday present from our club. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US !!

Dine Out for March was rather special. High Tea at Cilantro Retaurant Holmesglen. Prepared by trainee Chefs.

Our first dine out this year was on Wed 15th January at the Camden Hotel 414 Hawthorn Rd Caulfield.

Lots of our members showed up and we all enjoyed a nice lunch and lots of chat and laughs.

2024!!

Our last Dine Out for the year was at The Boundary Hotel, Cnr. East Boundary Rd and Centre Rd Bentleigh. 11 members arrived and we all enjoyed a lovely lunch. Lots of chatter and laughs. Thank you Helen for all your good work during this year.

Friday 16th February the dine out was held at Flight Deck Bar and Grill at the Moorabbin Airport. 22 attended. Some new faces there also which was very pleasing to see. Lovely day. Thanls Helen for arranging it.

Dine out for November was on the 16th at The Zest Cafe Brighton East. 11 members arrived to enjoy lunch and lots of talking mainly about travelling. All had a good time. This was the last one for the year and I personally would like to thank Helen for organising them this year.
